Estate Fencing
Traditionally found on large country estates and private gardens, estate fencing has enjoyed a renaissance recently and has become popular with landowners wanting to replace existing post and rail timber fencing with a more traditional style of fencing. It has also become popular with landscapers and property developers who appreciate the way estate fencing provides a break between formal and wilder areas, as well as providing a fence that is extremely durable. Estate fencing can lift the look of a property in a classic, stylish way.
We supply 2 types of estate fencing - Sterndale fencing and Dovedale Fencing.
Dovedale Fencing
Dovedale Hurdle is supplied in 2 metre welded panels that are available to order. It is supplied 1200mm high as standard and has a choice of ground fixing options. This Victorian designed fencing has the strength and capability to contain livestock, but it is often sold as an ornate visually unobtrusive fence, that adds character to any house or Estate.

Sterndale Fencing
Continuous Bar fencing is the most popular type of estate fencing, it will enhance any rural home, country park or estate. Supplied in kit form for on-site installation, this allows the installer to follow the contours and bends of the land, unlike the panel form.
Each section consists of 5 metre single lengths of rail, round top rail, notched flat second rail then 3 further flat notch ended rails, all held together with steel wedges.
This type of fence is only supplied in galvanised finish due to the installation process, however paint can be added after installation.
