Innovating, manufacturing and developing insulated tools since 2001. Shocksafe insulated tools by Carters have been perfected through a continual improvement programme involving safety professionals, civil engineers, utility contractors and product design engineers.

BS8020:2011 is an exacting specification that demands full adherence to detailed manufacturing and testing procedures for safe working practices to be maintained by the user when working on or in close proximity to live conductor cables. Every single tool is flash detected to 10,000 Volts before the issue of a certificate, unique to each implement.

Whilst safety remains paramount in the design on Shocksafe tools, a quality build and ease of use also remains at the forefront of design. Design features highlgihting the user in mind inlcude extra wide grip handles tailored to accomodate work gloves (or just larger hands!) and applied foot treads which ensure a stable footing and compfort whilst reducing foot fatigue.
