Clingseal is designed to adhere tightly to the surface of the silage, reducing air pockets and helping to minimise surface spoilage. In most dairy and beef systems, forage makes up 40–80% of the total diet and feed remains the single largest cost on farm. Reducing losses and protecting forage quality is therefore essential.
That’s why farmers and industry specialists rely on Clingseal. This flexible vacuum sheet is applied directly beneath a traditional, heavier silage sheet such as Visqueen Agri‑S. Its thinner, more adaptable structure allows it to mould closely to the contours of the clamp and tuck securely around the sides. This close fit eliminates trapped air and creates an effective barrier that significantly reduces top and shoulder losses caused by aerobic spoilage.
By improving the air seal, Clingseal also supports a faster and more efficient fermentation process, helping to deliver higher‑quality clamp silage. It is simple to apply and suitable for a wide range of ensiled crops, including grass, maize, wholecrop and other moist feeds.
