Maritime Pine Strainers

Maritime Pine timber are produced from slow-growing pine trees, which come from carefully managed temperate and sustainable forests.

• 150-170mm x 2500mm

Features -

• Greater mechanical strength - Maritime posts are grown in sandy or mountain terrain, which gives them high mechanical strength. Note: a standard 1.65m x 93mm avg dia full round stake has a load break point of 610kg which is over 15% stronger than standard pine creosoted posts.
• Fewer knots - Slower growing for more flexibility and endurance, with fewer knots.
• Naturally peeled to maintain the integrity and strength of the post.
• Pressure treated to Class 4 (With more than 26Kg / m3.) total penetration of the sapwood.
• Identification marked for full traceability and assurance.
• Manufacturers 20 year warranty, (however many are still standing after 30 years).
