Multiconnect Intermediate Plate and Tape Joiner

The Multiconnect is a versatile component designed to function both as a stainless steel tape joiner and an intermediate plate for use with TurboStar and TurboLine strain insulators. It is engineered to improve the strength, safety and efficiency of electric ribbon fencing systems.

The Multiconnect allows the TurboLine corner insulator to be used as a start or end insulator. While the TurboStar corner insulator can perform this role independently, using it with the Multiconnect provides a more robust and durable construction. As start and end insulators are constantly under voltage, Gallagher strongly recommends fitting the Multiconnect for added reliability and safety.

The intermediate plate features a deflectable tab that enables easy installation of a round wire clamp to ensure optimal current flow across parallel and continuous conductors. The same tab can also be used as a gate handle anchor, providing additional flexibility in fencing configurations.

In addition, the Multiconnect functions as a high-quality tape joiner. Using the supplied stainless steel pins, tapes can be securely joined and clamped with ease. Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel, the Multiconnect offers long-lasting durability and dependable performance, even in demanding outdoor conditions. It is compatible with both 20mm and 40mm wide tapes.
