Optimaxx Extreme Performance Wood Screws

Optimaxx Extreme Performance Wood Screws are hardened steel fasteners designed for efficient timber fixing. Their self drilling, self countersinking design eliminates pilot holes and helps reduce wood splitting and drive failure.

The screws are zinc plated, yellow passivated finish with a low friction coating for reduced drive torque and improved corrosion resistance. Suitable for manual screwdrivers, combi drills and impact drivers, making them ideal for professional use.

A deep, coarse thread delivers high pull out strength. Screws up to 50 mm are fully threaded, with longer lengths partially threaded for improved clamping. The Type 17 slash point enables fast starts, precise placement and efficient waste removal.

The head features 24 self countersinking ribs for flush seating without counterboring, a reinforced collar for better load distribution under high torque and saw tooth lower threads for faster penetration.
