A key milestone has been achieved on the East Coast Mainline.

In collaboration with Network Rail, HW Martins skilled fencers have installed over 1.8km of new 2.1m high deer fence to improve boundary resilience.  This isolated and rural location has seen multiple incidents of deer accessing the railway, resulting in significant delays to train services and damage to the recently upgraded rolling stock.  Complete with rabbit netting to negate the risk of mammals burrowing into the embankment (and potential earthwork problems), this long term and robust solution will improve reliability for passenger and freight services.

X fence XHT13-190-7.5 netting can exclude Fallow and Roe deer, whilst the smaller mesh pattern and additional rabbit netting can also prevent Muntjac Deer from burrowing under your fencing.
