All products are Hot Dip Galvanised to BS 461 however in some cases in order to extend their protection further and prolong the life of the troughs, we would recommend treating with a potable paint. This product should be applied to an empty, clean, dry trough. This product is animal friendly and can be sourced by a Google search. Using this product is particularly beneficial when feeding maize or similar feed in troughs/managers due to its acidic nature which will attack the galvanisation.
