For equine fencing we recommend the Clipex Cattle/Railway post.  It is a 2.0m long 13 clip post, designed to suit the X Fence premium XHT11-122-7.5 horse netting. All eleven lines will be clipped with one top row of barbed, electric or plain wire plus one row of plain or barbed wire as a base line.

  Clipex® is the multi-award winning innovative galvanised steel post. Each post has pre-fixed clips which are designed to take all the horizontal wires of your chosen X Fence wire netting.  Each wire is held firmly in place with a spring-loaded clip, meaning there are no fiddly parts to lose or fit after erection. These clips allow lateral flex, but very little vertical wire movement can happen, which is important when livestock start putting pressure on the fence.  Each post has a pre-fixed anti-lift plate below ground level to prevent lifting in soft or undulating ground. Clipex posts are hot dip galvanised and independently tested in the UK, exceeding British Standard coating recommendations.

  Triple X Strainers have been designed by McVeigh Parker and are proven in the field throughout the UK. Used by contractors, utility companies, farmers and landowners for stock, deer and security fencing. Our British made strainers are a very good alternative to more traditional timber strainers, lasting much longer and saving significant installation and labour time. When teamed up with the Clipex® posts and our premium quality X Fence alu/zinc wire netting you have a fencing system that has a life expectancy of over thirty years.

Energisers
McVeigh Parker stock a range of electric fence energisers including battery powered, mains and solar energisers for your electric fence. Our electrical power units are suitable for fencing livestock including horses and cattle in fields or paddocks. Our electric fence energisers are sturdy and easily transportable; suitable for long-term use outside. Solar panel fence energisers are powerful, with an integrated solar panel and battery, and some models come supplied with a seven-year premium warranty.

Our range of horse gates include both metal and timber options with our timber horse gates also offering a reinforced heavy top and bottom rail option for added strength. All timber horse gates are semi-planed finish and feature galvanised fittings to provide a long lasting life. We also stock a range of bridle gates allowing easy access for horse and rider. Bridle gates

If your land has right of way access including bridleway access (or access to cyclists), then our bridle gates are perfect for keeping users safe and allowing easy access whilst preventing free roaming! Our bridle gates are made of quality galvanised steel to prevent rust or unnecessary wear and tear. Included in our range is a self-closing bridle gate designed to allow safe and easy passage (particularly for those horses who aren’t so happy to stand around whilst you close the gate!) as well as a two-way opening gate model. All of our models have the option of an extended handle which provides an easy way to open the gate on horseback.

Horse friendly gate fittings

Our equine latches benefit both horse and rider. The Animal friendly Auto latch with D striker is built with no sharp points to protect horses and livestock and includes all fixings to attach to a wooden post and wooden gate. We also supply the popular Easy latch gate fitting. This specialised latch operates in conjunction with self-closing gate systems and are designed to be easily accessible for all including riders on horseback.
